Won’t it be Fun On Bonfire Night Circle Dance

October 5, 2021 By Sara Mullett 5 Comments

This Won’t It Be Fun On Bonfire Night circle dance encourages all the anticipation of the November 5th traditions, but also includes a little reminder about keeping safe too.

Most countries have a tradition of bonfires and fireworks to mark special occasions at various points in the year. But in the UK our Bonfire Night on November 5th has a particular historical relevance. The tradition marks and celebrates the failed attempt by Guy Fawkes to blow up the houses of Parliament back in 1605 which is referred to in the popular children’s rhyme Remember Remember the Fifth of November.

Happily, these days it’s just a fun family celebration with traditional food, a bonfire and lots of sparkles and bangs!
