Earlier this week we shared the Top 10 Songs and Activities of 2013 from Let’s Play Music – and now comes The Very Best Kids Activities of 2013 brought to you by the Kid’s Blogger Network – a blog hop of KBN bloggers sharing their favourite posts from the past year.
The Treasure Game – A Game for Building Confidence
One of my all time favourite music games that I’ve shared here over the past year has been The Treasure Game. It’s a fantastic way for building confidence within a group through solo singing and encourages even the shyest children to join in!
The Treasure Game has a whole host of educational benefits, from memory skills to developing vocabulary. It is also fantastic for teaching kids about call and response and listening to others in a group, and one of the best things about it is that it uses little toys and treasures that you have lying around in your home or classroom!
Below you’ll find over 50 Kid Blogger Network members coming together for The KBN Best Of 2013 Blog Hop. We know you’ll find tons of wonderful ideas to browse, pin and share. We’d love for you to join the blog hop and share your favorite activity of 2013 too, and make sure you’re following the Kid Blogger Network on Pinterest.
Happy New Year from the KBN Best of 2013 Blog Hop Co-Hosts!
