Tubby The Tuba : Introducing The Orchestra

Tubby The Tuba is a great way to help little ones to connect with the many wonderful instruments in an orchestra!  And this cute little tuba really appeals to kids, bringing the orchestra to life.  It encourages  kids to listen and helps to identify all the different instruments.

When I think of Tubby The Tuba, this wonderful recording by Danny Kaye springs to mind ❤️

And for older children check out this excellent animated graphical score by Stephen Malinowski.But I’m always a fan of nostalgia, and This Silly Symphonies cartoon has such a heartwarming message that love conquers all. Just incredible to think that it was made in 1935!  Walt Disney really was a genius!

Tubby The Tuba Book and CD

This edition of  Tubby The Tuba is a wonderful book for introducing the orchestra.Little Tubby get’s bored of just playing ‘oompah, oompah’ all day long! All he really wants is to ‘dance with the pretty tune’! But a kindly bullfrog shows Tubby that everyone has the right to play his own melody. A good message for everyone to take to heart!

Now these classic characters have been brought to life in this engaging picture book, which comes complete with a CD of the author reading with full. orchestration.
